CUSTOM DESIGNED ALGAE SYSTEMS SMALL- MEDIUM-LARGE-&-TURNKEY SYSTEMS
HINBEN Algae Belt Microscreen Filter
The HINBEN Belt Microscreen Filter is a highly efficient solids removal filter for algae applications. It is effective for fine and soft solids removal, plankton harvesting, and filtering colonies of unicellular organisms.
The filter is continuously self-cleaning using air, with periodic programmable hot water rinses to remove biological fouling that would eventually clog the screens. The filter operates with a low energy consumption and requires only 100 250 litres wash water per day (20 to 60 gallons per day) (depending on size) of periodic backwash water. The Belt Microscreen Filter features a polyester microscreen for strength and durability. The fine screen transports the captured solids to the air cleaning area. In the event of a screen tear, the belt can field repaired. The belt is turned by a fractional HP motor coupled to a heavy-duty permanently lubricated gear box. The strong motor and extra strength gearbox add to the filter's service life significantly. Electronic variable speed controllers are standard. Solids dewatering is available as an option. The filters are available in five models. Custom configurations including drop in channel mount units are readily available. All wetted parts used in manufacturing the filter are made of non-corrosive materials.
