Life Synthesis Life Synthesis is a commercial, for profit business network that will maximize the financial benefit to an ethical enterprise network that operates in cooperative and self-organizing pattern at Global, National and Local levels. The vision is much bigger than making money, it is to build a sustainable future and provide sustainable livelihoods for people in an open and inclusive grass roots community – this vision is intended to produce both material and spiritual satisfaction in our work. Then we can combine doing well with doing good. Thus our commercial business is not “business as usual”; we will be an effective agent for change that is urgently needed in society. Our business activity will enable the paradigm shift to sustainable living and the personal transformation required for individuals, families and communities to adopt an Eco Living lifestyle. MEMBERS: Norwegian SolaRoof Research Team  Rita Westvik: She has mobilized great support from various departments within SINTEF (the largest independent research organisation in Scandinavia), and elsewhere. She was our link to Ketil Stoknes who will lead the SolaRoof/FEED project at University of Oslo. She was the former President of the Norwegian Polytechnic Society, and active within the leading foresight milieu in Norway. He is himself an architect who specialises in ecological design, and improved energy efficiency in existing buildings. He also has a good understanding of the potentials of linking SolaRoof to carbon credits. He has written an outline of the current situation concerning carbon credits, and I have this attached. Unfortunately, most is written in Norwegian, but some is in English, and I can have it translated if you wish. He now leads what is aimed to become the world leading cluster around marine technology, and bioenergy from algae. He will participate in the UiO demo which includes aquaculture. (Oslo Teknolpol facilitated was now is the world leading cancer cluster in Oslo.) Øystein also has great belief in SolaRoof.
